Netball with Miss Spencer and Miss Gaisford

This term Miss Spencer and Miss Gaisford are running Netball Clubs for children in KS2.

Miss Spencer's Club have entered the Cheltenham District Netball League and will soon be competing against other schools.

Hockey with Jamie Roberts

We are very lucky this term to have Jamie Roberts from District Sports coaching our Hockey Club on a Thursday night until 4:30pm.

Mrs Jacobs will continue the club next term in preparation for the Quicksticks Hockey Tournament in Term 4.

Lunchtime Running

Whilst Jamie Roberts is with us this term, he is also running a lunchtime running club for invited members keen to take part in Cross Country races during Autumn and Spring Terms.

Gymnastics with Mrs Godsell

Mrs Godsell is running a Y4, Y5, Y6 gymnastics club on a Thursday evening until 4:15 pm. Again there may be the opportunity for some members of the club to take part in a Key Steps gymnastics Competition in the Spring Term.

Kin ball/ Benchball with Mrs Castle

On Tuesdays there is a Kin Ball/ Benchball club in the hall for KS2 pupils run by Mrs Castle. If you've never seen a Kinball, it is a huge inflatable ball about 1 metre high which is used for lots of fun team games.

Gymnastics with Mr Boston

Mr Boston is running a very popular Gymnastics Club after school on Mondays this term, for Year 2 and 3 pupils. They may be the opportunity for some members of the club to enter a Key Steps Gymnastics Competition in the Spring Term.

Football with Mr Hepworth

Mr Hepworth is running his football Club alongside Mrs Jacobs Club on a Monday evening.

They have already played one match in the Cheltenham and district league which they won, 2-1, against Gotherington.

Well done!

Girls Football with Mrs Jacobs

Mrs Jacobs is still running a girls football club on Mondays, after school until 4pm. We have high hopes for our girls football team this year with Mrs Jacob's past experience playing for Leeds and current experience with a local team.

KS1 Football

This year we have used some of our PE and Sport Premium to welcome back Jenny Weals-Brown, who plays for Cheltenham Ladies, to run her very popular Sporty Stars Football sessions with Year 1 and Year 2 children during September and October. The children are really enjoying developing their skills whilst having lots of fun. This club is overseen by Miss Haines.
