Art Careeres and Aspirations

Art video.mov

Art day!

The children had great fun during their recent art days. The theme was ‘Art Careers and Aspirations’. They studied lots of Art and Design careers and made some beautiful posters.

Ash and Elm class were fashion designers. The made pirate costumes, jewellery and even had a pirate catwalk!

Fir and Beech class looked at cake designing and became illustrators! In addition, they became printers and made some beautiful cork rainbows.

Pine and Birch class became florists for the day and made some beautiful floral pieces of work.

Willow and Rowan class became architects designing buildings and street views. They also did some amazing pop art and focused on the artists Roy Lichtenstein and Andy Warhol.

Aspen, Cedar and Hazel class were florists. They made paper bouquets and pressed flowers to make frames for their floral paintings. They looked at the work by Gustav Klimt. The also became fantastic photographers and captured some amazing shots!

Chestnut and Sycamore became amazing illustrators and used their skills to sketch some fantastic illustrations
