KS2 Teacher covering PPA

We are currently looking for an enthusiastic, experienced teacher to join our successful, friendly school who will plan and teach across all KS2 Classes covering PPA. The role will be an FTE of 0.6 [days to be confirmed] with a permanent contract starting in the new year.

Teaching Assistant Vacancies

EYFS Teaching Assistant[s]

We currently have Teaching Assistant roles available, on a Fixed term contract in the first instance, to work as part of our experienced and successful EYFS team to support children with a variety of needs.

The successful candidate[s] will demonstrate that they can support children with a range of needs, would be working as part of a team alongside the SENDCo/Class Teacher to deliver learning opportunities that meet the needs of the children.

They would also have a positive and sensitive attitude, be able to build positive relationships with and be a role model for children, show initiative and enjoy working in a thriving Primary school environment.

The positions are for 26.25hrs p/wk Monday-Friday on a 12-month fixed term contract in the first instance. The pay scale will reflect previous experience and qualifications [Grade3-5].

Midday Supervisor Vacancies: 6.25hrs p/wk: Immediate Start

We are looking for reliable and enthusiastic Midday Supervisors. The role will require individuals who can work as part of a team and take responsibility for supervising children, both in the dinner hall and in the playground, ensuring that their safety and welfare is maintained at all times. Applicants should be able to demonstrate strong interpersonal skills, initiative and empathy towards children and their needs.

The role is for 1 hour 15 minutes a day (1215hrs – 1330hrs) Monday to Friday, term time only.

Grade 2 (pts 2-3) which equates to an annual salary of approximately £3,159 - £3,211.

Caretaker: 37hrs p/week: A.S.AP Start

We are seeking to appoint a highly motivated, conscientious and skilled Caretaker who will take pride in looking after our school and ensuring it is well presented to meet the high standards we strive for.

Responsible to our Facilities and Maintenance Co-ordinator, this role will require a dedicated individual, with an eye for detail, whose key duties will include, site security, cleaning, minor repairs and general maintenance duties. 

A job description and person specification are included in the application pack.

The position is for 37hrs p/wk working Mon – Fri with the capacity to open the school at 0700hrs and close at 1800hrs [Mon – Thurs 0700-1100 and then 1430-1800; Fri 0700-1030 and then 1430 -1800 – these hours may change during school holidays], all year round with a total of 24 days holiday entitlement, split between in term time and during school holidays. All holidays are subject to the agreement of the line manager.


This is a permanent position at Grade: 5:11 giving a pro rata salary of approx. £25,980
