Oakwood Primary school is looking to recruit, initially on a fixed term contract until 31.08.2025, an experienced classroom practitioner who has the necessary skills to lead and support staff in promoting positive behaviour management across the school. The post holder will have full oversight of the implementation of the Behaviour policy within school; will work closely with the rest of the Senior management team and support staff in their understanding of behaviour management; classroom practice and helping to support young people who are not always in the right place to learn effectively.
The school prides itself on being fully inclusive and as such has children from a wide variety of backgrounds and a wide range of needs. We feel every child deserves the opportunity to succeed in school and as such the post holder’s role will be to support young people to do just that whilst ensuring a calm and effective learning environment is maintained.
